For billing purposes, West Central Electric meters are read by employees on or about the 10th of the month.

Turtle Meters in Rural Areas
For members in rural areas a "Turtle" meter is installed. The Turtle meter enables the cooperative to read your meter through the electric lines.

Bills are sent to the member for energy recorded to that reading. We ask that every customer work with us to ensure that our meter readers have access to the meter.
